This new steel and oak clock sculpture ‘Leaves on Time’ by Luke Kite makes a fabulous heavyweight centrepiece on a wall. When walking around it the worked-metal branches and varnished leaves surround and partly obscure the clock face, growing out in all directions and catching the light.

The heavily weathered and patterned root-oak is a smooth, warm counterpoint to the sharp steel leaves. The rim of the oak stands out from the wall, and in the hollow sits the clock face.

This heavyweight timepiece weighs in at 9kg, and 700mm x 650mm, and is the only clock that Luke has made.
